From 26 July to 11 August 2024, France is hosting the Olympic Games.
No fewer than 15.3 million visitors are expected in Paris for the occasion.
This is why France has asked to RAILPOL a cross-border exchange of information by the police authorities in real time.
Police authorities in Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the UK are participating by submitting the corresponding real-time information during the period from 24 July to 13 August 2024 to:
- operations@railpol.eu.
Information is required about:
- Identified travel movements to and from France,
- Number of identified participants travelling by train,
- Travel routes, departure time, arrival time
- Behaviour of identified participants,
- Luggage and equipment if need.
